For the academic year 2022-23 Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Caste, Socially and Educationally Backward Class, and Economically Backward Class students studying in Undergraduate Post Graduate, Post Graduate, and Other Higher Courses in Ahmedabad, Bhuj, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, From all students seeking admission in Jamnagar, Anand, Himatnagar and Patan Samaras Kumar and Girls Hostels only in Group I (Engineering Level Courses) on website https://samras.gujarat.gov.in/ till: 20/09/2022 online applications are invited.


Samaras Hostel Admission Notice

For fresh admission in any year or semester to all courses at Post Graduate level, admission will be given on merit based on the 12th class percentage.

(Note: Student should secure 50% or more marks.)

A student cannot apply for admission based on an online application. As the provisional merit list is published for admission based on the online application, students who get a seat in it will have to get their original certificates verified at the respective Samaras hostel within the time limit mentioned on the website. The entrance fee will then be determined by the respective Samaras hostel.

In case of discrepancy between the percentage filled in the online form and the percentage of the original mark sheet and certificates/eligibility details, the admission of the candidates will be cancelled.

Only students studying in a college in the district where Samaras Hostel is located will be eligible for admission.

Samaras hostel admission rules and other details are given on the said website. Graduate students will need to apply online.

Students from rural areas can also apply for admission online through e-gram.
